So, okay, this blog has turned into “all Queen & Commander, all the time.” And this post is no exception. I just got the final files for the UK edition cover, and I love it!
It has some things in common with the US cover. For instance, they both feature the main character and a background full of outerspace. But I really wanted the UK version to be illustrated (rather than graphic design), and Ms. Sara McSorley did not disappoint. I can’t believe her awesome Welsh dragon in the moon, either, which my UK focus groups easily picked out as a national symbol.
Soooooo cool.
